Welcoming the delegation from MoEYS, Cambodia

On November 6, 2019, the Department of International Affairs together with the Policy and Planning Division (PP) welcomed the delegation from Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), Kingdom of Cambodia by the request of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESRI) for their study visit on the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The delegation led by H.E. Mak Ngoy, Director General for the Directorate General of Higher Education of MoEYS along with the delegate of Cambodian universities and the meeting was headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somdech Rungsrisawat (Vice President for Academic Affairs) along with Ms. Napasri Suwanajote (Assistant to the President for International Affairs), Mr. Sontaya Jarernsiri (PP’s Director), heads of all PP’s departments and staff. The discussion was held at the University Council Meeting Room, 5F, Building 31 as follows;

1. Institutional regulations (including policies and procedures) on IQA

2. Structure and functions (including roles and responsibilities) of and manpower for the IQA system within the university

3. IQA process (including relationship between the concerned units) within the university

4. Mechanisms and implementation procedures in QA assessment within the university

5. QA model or framework and/or principles adopted by the university

6. QA standards and indicators used for the assessment

7. Working relationship between the university and national level QA-related institutions and agencies (such as ONESQA, MHESRI, professional bodies) on QA

8. Use of database and information systems in management of IQA system at the university

9. Support resources in terms of human resources and finance for the implementation of the QA system

10. The university's experiences in the development of the IQA system, and training of IQA administrators and internal assessors

11. Good practices and challenges in the development and implementation of the QA system at the university

In addition, the delegation visited Sai Suddha Nobhadol Building Museum where Ms. Chinchira Boonchutrakul, Deputy Director for International Affairs and Cooperation, Office of Arts and Culture was as the narrator for the beauty of the building and the decoration, and they were very impressed.
